A successful project begins with client/consultant communication. Listening to the needs of the client and writing a detailed proposal outlining the services to be performed and the final product to be delivered is our policy. We are a firm that believes in professionalism, integrity, delivering what we propose and performing the best job possible. Understanding the project and thoroughly researching every aspect of the property and/or the design documents is how every project begins.
The rules, theories and practices of land surveying have changed very little in the last century. The tape measure or how we measure distances continues to evolve. First with the invention of the electronic distance meter and then GPS. Alyson Consulting is a forward thinking company that continually looks for ways to adapt to these advances in technology in order to perform measurements more accurately leading to precise data being collected. We can also expect to complete the job faster with a more efficient use of personnel. Depending on what the project calls for, a one man crew is typically sufficient and can utilize the full potential of our Trimble R6 and R8 RTK-GPS receiver systems with GLONASS and when necessary, can easily switch over to the Trimble S6 Robotic Total Stations that they also carry. Other projects may require a two man crew or a combination of two one man crews, which can work together or independently to maximize the amount of data collected while keeping costs low by not having a second person sitting idle. The most efficient way to complete a job is to have the most experienced personnel using the best suited equipment.
